1. Organ donation
A call for more organ donors ahead of organ donation week made the media here.

2. Wi-Fi
We announced the launch of free Wi-Fi across our sites last week; this was covered in the Gazette.

3. Medical director talks on BBC Tees
Medical Director, Dr Deepak Dwarakanath spoke to BBC Tees this week following a story in the Gazette around the importance of having care plans in place for the last stages of life, you can listen to Dr Dwarakanath Dwarakanath here his interview begins at approx. 7 minutes into the show.

4. NCS group donate hampers
A group of youngsters involved in the National Citizen Service raised funds for hampers to be kept in the trusts oasis suites. Read the full story on Facebook.

5. National breastfeeding week

We are celebrating National Breastfeeding Week this week, we spoke to one mum who had a great experience breastfeeding her little one. See here.

6. Day in the life of… Chief Executive Julie Gillon

7. #Findyourplace
Medical Director, Deepak Dwarakanath and Director of Medical Education, Dr Dolon Basu, current and incoming F1 trainees attended an informal evening to get to know one another, breaking down barriers and encouraging a more cohesive and integrated workforce. See this on Twitter

Mel McEvoy, Nurse Consultant in Palliative Care, has been shortlisted for the Kate Granger Compassionate Care Awards, in the Individual Award category. Read it on Facebook.
