This October, luxury North East hotel, Wynyard Hall, will be holding its first ever charity ball to raise money to support cancer patients at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
Hoping to raise at least £6,000 for the trust, Wynyard Hall’s October 7 charity ball will be a glittering affair with a Prosecco reception and live music in the spectacular 650-seater Grand Marquee in the hotel gardens.
Wynyard’s top chefs will also pull out all the stops with a three-course feast featuring dishes such as ham hock & smoked chicken presse, roast sirloin with fondant potato, braised cabbage and Madeira sauce and dark chocolate bavarois with pistachio cream and chocolate candy.
“We’ve chosen North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust as our charity of the year as it’s very close to our heart, and we want to support cancer patients and families in our local community.” said Allison Antonopoulos, Managing Director of Wynyard Hall. “Money raised from ticket sales for the charity ball and the auction and raffle will be used to enhance patient care at the trust and help the staff, who do a fantastic job every day caring for patients”.
“Many people who have had cancer treatment in our trust as well as relatives of patients cared for by our staff want to give something back for the care received” said lead cancer nurse Jan Harley at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
“We are very grateful for every donation, and every penny is used to enhance patient care by investing in new equipment or services to make our patients’ experience more comfortable, and to support our staff in caring for those patients.”
Wynyard Hall’s Charity Ball will take place on Friday October 7 from 7pm-1am. Tickets costing £59 can be booked by calling the Events Team on 01740 644811 (option 6) or visiting http://www.wynyardhall.co.uk/events/whats-on/
